Life's Journey

All my life, I had a picture of what my life was supposed to look like - and what I "knew" it was going to be. And for a time, it totally was. But things changed and life seemed to take me on a journey that I never would have imagined and over which I had very little or no control. As time passed, I told myself that I would, sooner or later, get back to my life as it was supposed to be.

Well, this has yet to happen and I'm beginning to wonder if it ever will. Perhaps, what I intended is not what it was "supposed" to look like after all. . . No, life has not turned out to be what I expected and I'm not where I "always knew" I'd be. Life's journey - what a trip!
